Stop Sharing Photos of Fallen Soldiers at War Fronts; Army Warn Nigerians The Nigerian Army has condemned in strong term, the indiscriminate sharing of graphic pictures of fallen soldiers on social media. The Nigerian Army spokesman, Brigadier general Mohammed Yerima made this known in a statement Tuesday evening. The Army described posting of fallen Nigerian Army on social media as “unpatriotic but very insensitive and utterly reprehensible.” It said that such act can dent the image of the military personnel who were on a legitimate duties to defend their country. The statement read in part, “In the course of carrying out this constitutional mandate, troops put their lives on the line to ensure that innocent citizens and institutions of the state are protected from violent criminals. Defilement: Comedian Princess Narrates How Actor Baba Ijesa Was Caught Comedienne Princess Damilola, popularly called Princess has broken down in tears narrating how a fellow actor, Baba Ijesa was caught in the act of defilement of a seven-year-old girl who was under her care. In videos posted on her Instagram page, Princess said her tears flowed because many people are already jumping into conclusions over a matter that has not facts on. She however seized the opportunity to clear the air as Princess revealed that contrary to news making rounds, the actor did not sexually assault the girl for seven years. State of The Nation In a long time, I have not written about the state of Nigeria , because I felt what is happening in Nigeria today is no longer a secret , everyone can literally see what is going on. Nigeria has never been this unsafe for Nigerians and everyone else in Nigeria.  Today, almost as though it is normal, no day goes by without us hearing issues ranging from kidnapping to unknown gunmen attacking individuals and institutions, Boko Haram attacks , etc. These attacks are not in any way normal and the government has shown weakness on its part to tackle this issue. Too bad.  In the past, North East was the only part of Nigeria where we had serious issues of insecurity, but today not one state in Nigeria is excluded from attacks by terrorists, bandits or unknown gunmen.
